Fuori pioviggina un’acqua rada e fastidiosa, nel grigio della primavera lombarda.
Trovo miracolosamente un posto nel parcheggio, esco dalla macchina cercando di non dare e ricevere sportellate, e mi butto dentro l’Autogrill.
Mi arroto nella porticina girevole, faccio due passi, e mi rendo conto di essere finito in un cono di luce che non ha nulla a che fare con i tristi neon che ogni automobilista ben conosce. Perchè sì, basta alzare la testa verso il soffitto, e là, in alto, in mezzo, sta un lampadario enorme, con le gocce, gli sfavillii, una cosa che sembra di essere alla Scala o a Schoenbrunn.
Mi chiedo chi è il designer che ha avuto l’idea di mettere quella magnificenza sopra la pizza di Spizzico, giungo alla conclusione che è una trovata troppo nobile per essere frutto della mente di un designer dei tempi nostri, e vado a prendermi una fetta di margherita. Fredda, certo; ma non si può aver tutto dalla vita.
